What is Assisted Living?

Assisted living is for people who rely on assistance with most of their daily living activities and services such as eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, laundry, housekeeping and assistance with medications.

Residents in assisted living wish to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible, many of the patients who are in assisted living homes require assistance in a particular area. All Arizona group homes are required to have a care plan on file for every resident usually prepared by an RN nurse. The service plan details the personalized care services the resident requires which are guaranteed by the assisted living facility. This service plan is also updated on a regular basis to ensure the resident receives the appropriate care as his or her condition changes.
